To All Pre-Order Customers:
 
I am very excited to announce that I have released the 8750 Dragline model for production.
 
After a very successful stint in Bucyrus International’s MinExpo booth, the tooling model is now in transit back to TWH’s factory.
My first step will be to improve the tooling model with additional detail for “Configuration A” ….. the configuration that replicates the
most recent Bucyrus International technology currently used in Australia.  Then we will proceed into tooling/production ….. with the
intent to deliver to you no later than June 15, 2009.
 
There are some very significant changes & improvements that we have been able to engineer in order to start this project:

·        This version will be serialized with a need to produce no more than 100pcs

·        The air filtration units + stairs/handrails will now be produced in metal

·        The 8750 Dragline will be TWH’s first model with LED lights

·        We have more realistic cable replication

·        2008 Retail Price remains @ $5995

 
Given the state of the worldwide economy, I am not taking for granted that you will want to continue with your pre-orders.  Please
note that if you have to back out, it is OK.  However, if you want to make sure you get one or more of the 8750 models, you will need
to send in your deposit pronto as they will be first come – first served for these 100pcs.  
 
I am not sure if there will be a second version.  If we do one, the retail price will have to go up to $6995 due to my 2009 factory pricing.
 
Please note that it is your deposit that will hold your model pre-order from this point forward:

·        $2000 initial deposit/model ….. I would suggest no later than November 15, 2008 given the current pre-order list

·        $2000 payment/model no later than January 15, 2009

·        $1995 payment/model no later than March 15, 2009

·        Actual shipping costs will be due upon delivery  (May 15—June 15 timeframe)

 
We are still designing the packaging to minimize shipping costs …… the housing will be in one box, but we are still debating whether the
boom should come in 1-3 boxes -- depending on the ease of customer assembly vs. shipping costs.  Please note that we are doing all we
can to minimize your actual shipping costs to be closer to $1000 than $2000 --  by looking at shipping configuration, central delivery points,
transportation modes, etc.
